I work with high school juniors and seniors on those critical college admissions essays: topic selection, substantive content editing, structure editing, and copy editing and final proofing. Most of this is done completely virtually via Google Docs, so there's no awkward face-to-face interaction required (I've raised two teens--I get it).
With a background in traditional journalism and a strong understanding of the purpose of admissions essays, I'm also a skilled and experienced editor who's worked with thousands of people to hone written pieces while maintaining their own voice. This was my third child going through the college process and by far the best experience. My daughter does not like to write and was very stressed about her essay. By the time Kim was done with her, she had an essay she was very proud of that got her into all her first choice schools!! |
