Your student and I will work together through Google Docs and email (and/or phone and Zoom depending on the student's preference), and each edit includes content, structure, punctuation, grammar, and language. The essay remains the work of your student--I do not re-write; I make suggestions for the author to incorporate in his or her own style.

​Your essay review includes:

• A first-draft edit; a second edit post-revisions; and a third edit for final polishing, all using Google Docs.
• Answering any questions your student has via email throughout the process.
• Working with your student to meet word count and theme requirements.
• Clear explanations of why changes are recommended, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and structure/content.
• Ensuring the essay stays in your student's voice throughout the editing process.
